Product Details

I. Instrument Introduction

The Youyunpu series multi‑functional microplate analyzer is a high‑sensitivity, high‑dynamic‑range, high‑linearity microplate reader designed with innovative linear PMT detection technology and dual‑excitation light source compensation technology.
With configurable modules, the instrument supports three detection modes:
  • Chemiluminescence (CLIA)

  • Light‑initiated Chemiluminescent Assay (LiCA)

  • Time‑Resolved Fluorescence (TRF)

Users can flexibly configure 1 to 3 detection modes, providing a highly adaptable solution for researchers.
The instrument is widely used in nucleic acid, immunoassay and cell analysis applications, including:
protein detection, enzyme kinetics, kinase assays, intermolecular interaction, agglutination assays, reporter gene assays, cell proliferation, apoptosis, cytotoxicity, bacterial adhesion, food toxin detection and hormone testing.

Chemiluminescence (CLIA)

Photons generated by chemiluminescent reactions are detected and converted into electrical signals by a photomultiplier tube (PMT) in the reader. The instrument collects signals across the full spectrum. Chemiluminescence is favored for high sensitivity and wide dynamic range. It is optically simpler than fluorescence, requiring no excitation source or specialized optics. The system supports glow‑type chemiluminescence, cytotoxicity and proliferation assays.

Light‑initiated Chemiluminescent Assay (LiCA)

LiCA is a homogeneous affinity detection method based on bead pairs, suitable for nearly all research applications. This wash‑free assay enables simple, rapid and highly sensitive detection of biomolecules in cell lysates, supernatants, serum and other sample types, as well as binding assays with a wide affinity range. LiCA completes 96‑well plate measurements in minutes with an excellent signal‑to‑background ratio, enabling fast, high‑sensitivity detection in nearly all laboratories.

Time‑Resolved Fluorescence (TRF)

TRF delivers high signal‑to‑noise ratio, excellent sensitivity, wide dynamic range, outstanding stability and flexibility, even with limited or ultra‑low‑abundance samples. Similar to conventional ELISA, TRF uses lanthanide chelate fluorescence delay to reduce background interference, expand dynamic range and provide highly stable signals.

II. Instrument Features

  • Dual‑mode photon counting and correction technology
Patented linear fitting technology expands the dynamic range of a standard 10⁵ photon counter to 10⁷ (100× extension), supporting wider concentration gradients with improved linearity.
  • Confocal optical system
Effectively suppresses ambient stray light and minimizes cross‑talk between adjacent wells caused by large concentration differences.
  • High‑performance detection optics
    • In TRF mode: dual excitation optical paths + high‑dynamic‑range PMT detect weak signals without saturating strong signals, maximizing dynamic range and linearity in a single read.

    • In LiCA mode: monochromatic laser excitation minimizes non‑specific fluorescence from the plate or reaction components.

  • High stability & temperature control
Long‑life monochromatic LEDs and laser diodes ensure reliable performance and repeatability.
Built‑in temperature control up to 45 °C with high uniformity ensures consistent reaction and well‑to‑well reproducibility.
  • Intuitive control software
Flow‑based user interface, easy to operate. Preloaded application protocols and experimental templates support most routine assays.
Functions include standard curve quantitation, endpoint measurement, kinetic analysis, and multiple curve‑fitting models for quantitation and data analysis.
  • Self‑diagnosis & auto‑calibration
Power‑on self‑test and auto‑calibration; automatic dynamic range adjustment simplifies parameter setup.
Supports 8×12 opaque microplates with automatic tray loader, enabling integration with liquid handling systems.
Compact, lightweight design saves valuable laboratory space.
