Product Introduction
The OD600 is an instrument for measuring the absorbance (Optical Density, OD) of bacterial cultures at 600 nm within a range of 0–4 Abs, to indirectly evaluate cell density and growth status.
Based on the Lambert-Beer Law: when light at 600 nm passes through the sample, cells scatter and absorb light, and the absorbance (OD value) is proportional to the cell density.
It is widely used in microbiology, molecular biology, fermentation engineering, biopharmaceuticals and other fields.

- Suitable for 4.5 mL cuvettes.
- Stores and reviews up to 200 measurement data sets.
- Battery level indicator; auto power-off after 5 minutes of inactivity for long battery life.
