The YP-P08 Gene Amplification Instrument is mainly used to perform real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR experiments. Through fluorescence excitation and collection, it monitors the experimental process in real time, plots the fluorescence curve from the process data, displays it on the instrument interface in real time, fits and analyzes the experimental data, and finally generates an experimental report in PDF format.
It performs rapid and accurate qualitative and quantitative analysis of target nucleic acids in biological samples taken from other animals (such as blood, body fluids, etc.), and can also analyze special samples for standard curves, melting curves, genotyping, etc.
Principle of the YP-P08 Gene Amplification Instrument: Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) is a molecular biology technique used to amplify specific DNA fragments. It can be regarded as a special DNA amplification in vitro. A temperature cycle consists of several steps: high-temperature denaturation, low-temperature annealing, and appropriate-temperature extension, enabling rapid amplification of the target gene. It features strong specificity, high sensitivity, simple operation and time saving, representing a major innovation in gene amplification technology. PCR technology can specifically amplify trace amounts of target DNA by millions of times, greatly improving the ability to analyze and detect DNA molecules.
Real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR technology adds corresponding fluorescent dyes or fluorescent-labeled probes on the basis of conventional PCR. During the PCR reaction, the entire PCR process is detected in real time through changes in fluorescent signals. It is a method of monitoring the total product after each PCR cycle with fluorescent chemicals, and quantitatively analyzing specific DNA sequences in the test sample by internal or external reference methods.
The Gene Amplification Instrument is a real-time reaction detection instrument, mainly composed of a gene amplification thermal cycling system, a real-time fluorescence detection system, a microcircuit control system, a computer and supporting application software. It has two core functional modules: the thermal cycling system and the real-time fluorescence detection system. The working principle of the gene amplification thermal cycling system is basically the same as that of traditional gene amplifiers, using semiconductor heating and cooling to complete the thermal cycle process. The fluorescence detection system mainly comprises fluorescence excitation components, optical signal transmission components, fluorescence detection components and a control system.
