Product Details

Product Introduction

The Avian Disease Detector is designed for the detection of potential pathogens in poultry including chickens, ducks, geese, etc., such as Infectious Bursal Disease Virus (IBDV), Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV), Infectious Bronchitis Virus (IBV), Avian Leukosis, Avian Influenza Virus (AIV), Duck Plague Virus (DPV), Gosling Plague Virus, and others.
This instrument is mainly used to monitor poultry health status, enabling early detection and control of avian disease transmission.
Real-time fluorescent PCR combines PCR and fluorescence detection technologies. The fluorescent PCR detector monitors the amplification process in real time during PCR, delivering faster and more accurate test results. It is widely applied in poultry farming and veterinary health fields.

Basic Principle

Principle of Real-time Fluorescent Quantitative PCR Instrument

Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) is a molecular biology technique used to amplify specific DNA fragments in vitro. It can be regarded as a special form of DNA amplification outside a living organism, consisting of thermal cycles including high-temperature denaturation, low-temperature annealing, and moderate-temperature extension. These steps enable rapid amplification of target genes with high specificity, high sensitivity, simple operation, and time-saving performance, representing a major innovation in gene amplification technology. PCR can amplify trace amounts of target DNA by millions of times, greatly improving the ability to analyze and detect DNA molecules.
Real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR is developed on the basis of conventional PCR by adding fluorescent dyes or fluorescently labeled probes. It monitors the entire PCR process in real time through changes in fluorescence signals after each cycle. By measuring the total product amount using fluorescent chemicals, it allows quantitative analysis of specific DNA sequences in test samples via internal or external references.

Basic Structure

The real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR system is a real‑time reaction detection instrument, mainly composed of:
  1. Gene amplification thermal cycler system

  2. Real-time fluorescence detection system

  3. Microcircuit control system

  4. Computer and application software

The two core functional modules are the thermal cycler system and the real‑time fluorescence detection system.
  • The gene amplification thermal cycler uses a semiconductor heating/cooling system to perform thermal cycling, with a working principle similar to traditional gene amplifiers.

  • The fluorescence detection system consists of a fluorescence excitation unit, optical signal transmission components, fluorescence detection unit, and control system.

Instrument Features

  1. Compact and lightweight, highly portable to easily meet field testing requirements.

  2. Built-in 7-inch HD capacitive touchscreen PDA, enabling simple and fast touch operation.

  3. Equipped with high-quality Marlow Peltier cooling chips, paired with high-end German PT1000 temperature sensors and electrical resistance heating compensation for edge temperature control.

    • Maximum heating rate: 7 ℃/s

    • Maximum cooling rate: 5 ℃/s

      Greatly shortens experimental running time.

  4. Whole-plate rapid optical acquisition within 3 seconds, ensuring consistent results across all wells.

  5. Intuitive and user-friendly software guidance for easy setup and operation of detection experiments.
