The Meat Origin Detector is a highly efficient and convenient food testing instrument designed specifically for meat authenticity identification.
It can detect animal-derived components from pork, beef, lamb, horse, donkey, duck, chicken and other species. By rapidly and accurately analyzing DNA in meat and meat-based samples, it ensures the authenticity and reliability of food products.

Working Principle

The Meat Authenticity Detector performs testing based on real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR (qPCR) technology. It uses specific primers and probes to amplify and detect target DNA in meat samples.

Detailed Workflow

  1. Sample Preparation: Homogenize meat samples and extract genomic DNA.

  2. PCR Reaction: Add specific primers, probes and sample DNA into reaction tubes, then place into the detector for PCR amplification.

  3. Real-time Detection: During amplification, the instrument monitors DNA amplification in real time via fluorescence signals and generates amplification curves.

  4. Data Analysis: Based on fluorescence intensity and amplification curves, the system determines the presence of specific DNA sequences to verify meat species and authenticity.
